Linden’s Annual Meeting and Awards

Linden held its Annual Meeting on September 29, 2011 at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association Conference Center in Arlington.  Board chair Jennifer Murphy led the festivities and CEO Linda Chandler gave a “State of Linden” presentation.

Jennifer Murphy presented the Linden Resources Partner Awards, recognizing the outstanding contributions made by individuals and companies who have advanced employment opportunities for people with disabilities and/or who have provide outstanding support to Linden Resources.  Awards were presented to David Himes; Fire Station Five; Warren Brown; Tom Trowbridge; Coniece Washington; Inova Fairfax Hospital; Richard and Jacqueline Weaver and the Arlington County Water, Sewer and Streets Bureau.  Employee Service Awards recognizing years of employment were presented to 38 Linden employees.

New board members voted to serve a three-year term include:  Manas Das; Chris Farley; Linda Kelleher; Steve Moriarty; Jim Ryerson; Jim Whelan; Charles Clark.  Board members voted to serve a second three-yera term include:  Anthony Lam; Jennifer Murphy and Gregory Paige.

But most of all, great fun was had by all.
